Tom Speer

Associate Director - Head of Escrow & Treasury Services

Tom is an experienced financial professional with over 16 years’ experience covering a wide array of Corporate Trust products such as Escrows, Structured Finance, Project Finance and Conventional Debt Bond Programmes.

He joins LawDeb as Associate Director - Head of Escrow & Treasury Services. The volume and diversity of the work Tom has undertaken to date gives him a strong commercial awareness and a sophisticated understanding of the motivations facing both corporate clients and escrow agents in the market.

Prior to joining LawDeb, Tom was a Vice President and the Escrow Team Leader for Deutsche Bank AG, Filiale London where he was responsible for new business development, contract negotiation and managing a diverse number of client relationships across multiple product lines.  

During his career Tom has worked for prestigious banks such as J.P. Morgan where he was a VP within the EMEA Escrow team, Bank of New York Mellon (Assistant VP of Structured Products) and for Butterfield Private Bank and Barclays Private Bank where he worked in Investment Management Operations and Support as a Trust Associate.
