Edward Levy

Director

Edward represents LawDeb as both independent trustee and chair on a range of trustee boards from £20m to £2bn. He works with a range of sponsors, both UK based and overseas, in different sectors including financial services/ insurance, as well as a number of not-for profit clients.


As chair and member of investment committees, he provides strategic input to help develop investment strategies to support schemes’ journey planning. His broad investment and de-risking experience (LDI and buy-ins) includes leading/ working on three successfully completed full buy-ins in the two years.
Edward has helped develop LawDeb’s approach to its corporate sole trustee offering and led the on-boarding of three new such appointments, including establishing journey plans and reviewing investment strategy.


Prior to LawDeb, Edward held senior strategy, planning and governance roles with Aviva, Abbey National and Lloyds TSB, following his early career in pensions as a qualified actuary.


Edward has an MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University, an MBA from London Business School and is an Accredited Member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.


Edward is a strategic thinker with a clear focus on priorities and timescales. He has a collaborative working style with colleagues ranging from senior management at FTSE 100 companies to fellow trustees on pension scheme and charity boards.
