Law Debenture named top pick by Peel Hunt and Winterflood

Law Debenture was named as a top pick by Peel Hunt in the Equity Income section of its 2024 Investment Companies Playbook, which highlights investment trusts offering compelling total returns and attractive dividends supported by robust fundamentals.

This follows the Trust's inclusion in Winterflood Research Investment Trusts’ 2024 recommendations under the UK Equity Income category. The research pointed towards Law Debenture’s “unique proposition offering a strong dividend growth track record and impressive historical relative returns”.

In the Peel Hunt Playbook Anthony Leatham and his team highlighted LawDeb’s differentiated nature and 44-year track record of increasing or maintaining dividends, noting how our total return has outperformed the FTSE All Share index over one, three, five, and ten years. To date, Law Debenture’s five-year annualised net asset value (NAV) of 9.0% is the top performer in the AIC’s UK Equity Income sector.
