We are hugely proud to be named as the best performer in the FTSE 250 for women in Leadership, that is the Combined Executive Committee & Direct Reports.
Law Debenture moved into first place, from second last year, with 59.1% women in Leadership.
We also top the FTSE 350 and Top 50 Private Companies Sector Rankings for Financial Services, per the latest FTSE Women Leaders Review (Achieving Gender Balance), published this morning.
We have a positive story to tell at LawDeb and are delighted to have received this recognition, and always welcome the chance to share our journey with clients, demonstrating how a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace adds significant value for them. We are in full agreement with Co-Chairs of the Review, Penny James and Nimesh Patel, who called on event attendees this morning to “continue to work together to do the right thing for all women, embracing inclusion and diversity as a key lever for future success.”
The report, which is in its third year after succeeding the Hampton-Alexander and Davies Reviews, aims to increase the representation of women on boards and in leadership teams.
This year’s report showed that an all-time high of 42.1% of Boardroom positions are held by women in the FTSE 350, up from 40.2% last year (and from 22% in 2015), reaching the 40% target for FTSE 350 Boards three years ahead of target.
