Having spent many years working in the corporate governance field, I'm passionate about the difference that good governance makes to companies. We see time and again that if the governance is correct, and the board functions smoothly, then decisions are made in a more effective manner.
I enjoy very much the intellectual challenge of working with clients to resolve their issues - even when they need help in working out what the issues are in the first place! I have worked in retail, healthcare, lobbying, infrastructure, insurance and financial services as well as running my own consultancy company so I'm comfortable in most sectors.
Outside work I walk my two dogs, read, visit exhibitions and volunteer for a charity encouraging six year olds to enjoy books.
