Companies House have announced key dates regarding new obligations introduced by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (“ECCTA”). This includes mandates for identity verification (“IDV”) for all directors, LLP members, and persons with significant control (“PSCs”).
LawDeb is closely monitoring the progress of this legislation to ensure our clients are well-prepared and compliant. Additionally, we will be registering as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (“ACSP”) to facilitate identity verification services.
Key dates to remember:
Preparing for compulsory IDV
From Autumn 2025, IDV will become mandatory for new directors, LLP members, and PSCs. Existing directors must complete the IDV process by their Company’s next confirmation statement deadline.
LawDeb is here to support you through these changes. From March 2025, we will offer comprehensive verification services as a Companies House accredited ACSP to help you navigate the new regulatory landscape seamlessly.
