Pensions Executive

At LawDeb, Nareser supports several DB and Corporate Sole Trustee clients, ranging in size from £125m to over £1 billion with pensions executive services. She has been instrumental in helping to lead LawDeb’s approach to complying with the General Code.

Nareser’s responsibilities include providing scheme secretarial support, facilitating clear communication with members, managing adviser reviews and handling crisis management situations such as complex admin transitions and cyber incidents. She focuses on improving governance practices in a practical way.

Nareser joined LawDeb from the PLSA, where she worked as a senior policy advisor on DB and LGPS issues. She has previously worked for the London Borough of Newham as chair of their Pension Committee and has also been a trustee for the Labour Party DB pension scheme - she has dealt with a range of investment and governance matters, with a variety of different stakeholders.

Outside of work, Nareser enjoys exploring culinary techniques and flavours in her kitchen. Last year, she won the best taste award in a LawDeb Bake Off.
