The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. named UK Equity Income Investment Trust of the Year, for the second year running, at Investment Week’s Investment Company of the Year Awards 2022
The awards, in association with the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), are now in their 24th year and reward excellence in closed-ended fund management. They highlight managers who have delivered consistently strong performance for investors and who the judges believe can continue to perform well.
The awards are shortlisted on the basis of scores provided by the AIC using Morningstar data.
Some of the UK’s leading researchers and investors in investment companies contribute to the judging panel, alongside several senior board members who are veterans of the industry.
This is Law Debenture’s second award win of 2022, and we are extremely pleased to be recognised for the quality of our operations and performance by the investment trust industry and our peers. Our investment managers, James Henderson and Laura Foll, seek to deliver resilience, long term outperformance and dividend growth to shareholders, and this award is an acknowledgement of Law Debenture’s ongoing commitment to these goals.

The cash flows from Law Debenture’s unique combination of the IPS business and an equity portfolio allow investment managers James Henderson and Laura Foll increased flexibility in portfolio construction, to continue to outperform the benchmark over the longer term.
