Pegasus, a Law Debenture company providing outsourced pensions executive services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Goodfellow as Senior Pensions Executive in the London office.
Jamie joins Pegasus from Punter Southall Governance Services, where he was a Senior Scheme Manager. Previously, Jamie worked at National Grid on the £20bn defined benefit scheme as Governance Manager, where he supported the trustee board by managing governance, compliance and audit requirements, as well as the trustee’s relationship with the then in-house administrator.
He also has previous experience as a trustee as well as wide-ranging general pensions knowledge from his time working for TPAS (part of The Money and Pensions Service) and as Chair of the Employers’ Panel at NEST for five years. An experienced pensions governance consultant with a wealth of diverse industry experience, Jamie also has significant experience in wider management and corporate treasury roles.
Head of Pegasus, Sankar Mahalingham, commented: “After a busy year that has seen continued high demand for our services, Jamie’s appointment is hugely exciting for our business and brilliant news for our clients, who will no doubt benefit from his breadth of expertise in delivering solutions in an evolving industry with wide-ranging demands.”
Jamie’s appointment is the latest in a string of additions to the team, most recently Helen Nguyen, who joined Pegasus late last year as Senior Pensions Executive. Helen is a pensions actuary by background having previously worked at Mercer for 25 years. Her initial focus was on actuarial consulting before moving to provide Outsourced Pensions Management, Trustee Secretarial and Governance services to a range of DB and hybrid trust-based plans.
Pegasus offers independent outsourced pensions executive services, including pensions management and secretarial support, to pension scheme trustees and corporates. Its services are designed to deliver a well-thought out strategy supported by strong governance and efficient operations. In less than 4 years, Pegasus has quadrupled its headcount to 24 pension professionals to support its ever growing client base.
