LawDeb pensions business completed fourth successful year of positive growth

Law Debenture has released its results for the year ended 31 December 2020, its pensions has shown great progress for the year, producing advantageous outcomes for clients and strengthening its senior team.

LawDeb remains the longest established and largest provider of independent pension trustees in the UK. It completed its fourth successful year of positive growth with revenues up by 8.3%.
Key highlights for the year include:
- Playing an instrumental role in the landmark agreement between Premier Foods plc and its pension schemes, significantly improving the group’s pension funding situation
- Improving the security for British Bankers’ Association scheme members (a sole corporate trustee client) through the purchase of a £95 million insurance policy with FTSE 100 Aviva
- The appointment of LawDeb’s Robert Thomas to the Legal & General Mastertrust Board and Mark Ashworth to the Legal & General Investment Management’s Independent Governance Committee
- Rising demand for Law Debenture’s outsourced pensions executive service Pegasus; the team welcomed seven new joiners with more to come. The need for their services is driving this growth and Pegasus has taken on five new clients and a further 25 separate projects during the year.
