LawDeb CFO appointed as an executive director of the Corporation

The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. is pleased to announce that Katie Thorpe has been appointed as an executive director of the Corporation with effect from 1 January 2019.

Katie joined Law Debenture as its Chief Financial Officer on 4 June 2018.

Katie Thorpe is a chartered accountant. She qualified with PwC, leaving after 8 years to join J. Rothschild Capital Management Limited, the manager/subsidiary of RIT Capital Partners plc. Initially appointed as Financial Controller, she was promoted to Deputy Chief Operating Officer, responsible for day-to-day operations, HR, IT, legal and company secretarial, with a significant emphasis on RIT’s investor relations with shareholders and brokers.

Commenting on the appointment, Law Debenture’s Chairman Robert Hingley said:
