Law Debenture is a top performer for women on boards and in leadership positions for the second year running

The FTSE Women Leaders Review, an independent and voluntary, government-backed initiative, has ranked Law Debenture first among financial services companies across the FTSE350 and top 50 private companies, and second across the FTSE250 for women on boards and in leadership positions, for the second year in a row.

63% of Law Debenture’s combined executive committee and direct reports, along with over forty percent (42.9%) of the Board of Directors, are women. This represents a year-on-year increase of 8.8% and 9.6% respectively, outperforming industry trends.

The review, now in its second year after succeeding the Hampton-Alexander and Davies Reviews, aims to increase the representation of women on boards and in leadership teams. The review of 2022 found that women now occupy 40.2% of board seats at FTSE350 companies, up from just 9.5% in 2011 and reaching the voluntary target three years early.

In addition to the strong female representation in leadership roles, Law Debenture's mean gender pay gap for total compensation is 13% compared to an industry average 27%.
