Law Debenture hosted its inaugural Widening Investor Networks (WIN) event – Get investing: what you need to know to take your first steps – on Wednesday 25th September, at its 100 Bishopsgate London office and virtually.
The event, the first of a series set up to deliver independent guidance and practical tips to retail investors, saw an expert panel offer insights into getting finances in order and the basics of investing.
Hosted by Denis Jackson, Chief Executive, each of our speakers took to the lectern to share their own experiences and tips, before coming together for a panel discussion with questions from the audience.

Following an engaging Q&A session, which touched on topics from how young people can take their first steps onto the investment ladder, to the different methods of investing in individual stocks versus funds, Denis closed the panel by recognising that “it’s ok to be lost” when it comes to investing, but emphasising the wide range of resources and great people who can provide support and information.
