Wellcome Trust contacted CSS Law Deb for interim cover to support their governance team in providing board and subsidiary governance during a period of long-term staff absence.
The solution included a dedicated team:
- working closely with key stakeholders to set board and committee meeting agendas, the collation and distribution of meeting papers, attendance at the meetings, drafting minutes and actions for circulation to the directors and management team.
- working on the implementation of new software to circulate minutes for comments.
- performing healthchecks of selected group’s subsidiaries and proposing efficiencies using technology.
- taking responsibility for Entity Management matters including, maintaining, and reconstituting some statutory registers, undertaking a PSC analysis exercise, and making the appropriate filings with Companies House.
